Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-05-19
Here's the plain-English version: we only collect what we need to deliver what you bought (or asked for free), we don't sell your information to anyone, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
What we collect
If you take the free one-page plan: your first name, email, who the plan is for (yourself, a parent, etc.), and one line about how you use a computer.
If you buy a product: the same plus your purchase amount and the Stripe transaction ID. We do not see or store your credit-card number — that lives with Stripe.
If you visit our website: standard log information your browser sends to any website (IP address, browser type, the page you visited, the page you came from). Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes these logs and keeps them for security and analytics.
What we use it for
- Sending you the free one-page plan
- Delivering the PDF binder, print binder, or VIP bundle you bought
- Sending up to four follow-up emails after a purchase (welcome, a check-in at one week, a feedback ask at one month, a final note at three months)
- Answering your support questions
- Improving the binder using anonymized signals (which sections people ask about, where the screenshots fall out of date)
What we never do
- Sell your name, email, or any other information to anyone
- Share your information with advertisers, brokers, or data aggregators
- Send you more than four follow-up emails after a purchase, and never more than five emails on the pre-purchase nurture sequence from the free one-page plan
- Use your purchase information to train AI models
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of trusted services to run the business. Each one only sees what they need to:
- Resend (transactional email): your name + email to deliver emails
- Stripe (payment processing for all purchases): your name, email, and purchase details — they handle payment processing
- Lulu (print-on-demand fulfillment for the print binder and VIP bundle): your name and shipping address to print and ship your order
- Cloudflare (hosting + DNS): standard server logs
- Microsoft 365 (our email inbox): the contents of emails you send us
None of these services may use your information for purposes other than serving us. They each have their own privacy policies which we link to from our help pages.
Cookies and tracking
We use one analytics cookie (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting). We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising tracker. If we add advertising tracking in the future, we will ask for your consent first.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Ask what information we have about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Unsubscribe from email at any time (one click in any email footer)
- Take your data with you — we'll email you a JSON or CSV file of everything we have
To exercise any of these: email [email protected]. We respond within 7 days.
Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), and Canada (PIPEDA) have these rights under their respective laws. We treat all users the same regardless of where you live — these rights apply everywhere.
Children
Our service is intended for adults age 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will email everyone on our list and post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will get 30 days notice before taking effect.
