Why Plain English Company exists

My dad got tired of me driving over to fix his printer. So I wrote him a binder — plain English, one step per page — for the everyday stuff: getting the Mac to print, downloading photos from his camera. This is the ChatGPT version of that binder.

That first binder was about a printer and a Mac and downloading photos from a camera — small, everyday things, written down one step at a page, in plain language, with no assumed vocabulary. The same idea is what Plain English Company sells now, applied to ChatGPT instead of a printer.
